Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: July 2026
We are committed to ensuring that this portal is accessible to all users irrespective of device, technology or ability. It is built with the UX4G design system (NeGD, Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India) and aims to conform to the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Accessibility features
- Skip to main content — the first keyboard-focusable element on every page.
- Text resize — A− / A / A+ controls in the header adjust text size across the portal; the setting is remembered on your device.
- High-contrast view — a contrast toggle in the header switches the portal to a dark, high-contrast theme.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard; visible focus indicators are provided.
- Screen-reader support — semantic landmarks, ARIA roles and labels, and descriptive alternative text. See Screen Reader Access.
- Responsive layout — the portal adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop viewports, and text reflows at high zoom levels.
- Legible typography — Noto Sans, with Noto Sans Telugu for Telugu content.
Known limitations
Interactive charts and maps provide summary figures in accompanying tables and labels where possible. We continue to test the portal with assistive technologies, and a formal accessibility audit is part of the production readiness plan.
